Update the fields sent, and only those. An artifact's `kind` never changes. A note's new `markdown` must come with the `markdown_version` it started from: if the note was saved since, the answer is 409 and nothing is saved — read it again. A rename does not move the version. An update that changes nothing writes nothing, so the note's last edit stays. PUT
